Mexer has been an ever-present in the Rennes defence since joining the French club in 2014, making 118 Ligue 1 appearances.Yahoo Sport France claim Bordeaux and Eintracht Frankfurt lead the Gers in the race for Mexer’s signature.Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is set to oversee a clear-out at Ibrox this summer after Celtic won their eighth successive Scottish Premiership title.Earlier this week, Gerrard revealed he was ready to axe his Rangers flops.
