Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno wants transfer from Anfield and criticises Reds boss Jurgen Klopp

Moreno, 26, who was a regular starter when Brendan Rodgers was in charge of the club, joined Liverpool for 12million from Sevilla in 2014.But Klopp appears to not be as big a fan of the defender and Moreno has effectively been frozen out of the team following the emergence of Andy Robertson in the second half of last season with the Scot establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s best full-backs.And Moreno admitted to being frustrated with life under Klopp, arguing he hasn’t been given enough chances after recovering from an ankle injury sustained last December.Moreno, whose contract at Liverpool expires in June 2019, told Cadena Ser (translated via Football Espana):“I do not feel good, that is the truth. “I hurt myself giving everything for this team and I think that when I came back from injury, I deserved an opportunity.“The situation is normal for a lot of players but simply I did not like the way he [Jurgen Klopp] has treated me, you can say that.“Moving back to Spain is something I have thought about, I am tired of the cold here but I do not know about interests from other clubs.“I am in my fifth year here, there is no agreement on a renewal and in January I am free to listen to any offer.”Despite Moreno’s absence for large parts of the season, Liverpool find themselves top of the Premier League – six points ahead of second-placed Tottenham and seven points ahead of reigning champions Manchester City who are third.Moreno’s relationship with Klopp appears to have broken down2
