Ashley Young has signed a one-year contact extension, Manchester United have confirmed.The 33-year-old joined the club from Aston Villa in 2011 and has scored17 goals in 227 appearances in addition to winning the Premier League, FA Cup, the League Cup and Europa League.

However, it was his displays on the opposite flank, though, that saw him in the form of his life last term. He made the position his own and earned a place in England’s World Cup squad where he started five games to take his England tally to 39 caps.His experience will be vital when Paris Saint-Germain visit Old Trafford on Tuesday night in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 clash.Edinson Cavani and Neymar have both been ruled out of the game, leaving Kylian Mbappe as PSG’s only fit member of their first choice front three.1
