Harry Kane is the latest absentee and he looks set to miss the final six league games of the campaign, as well as at least one Champions League match. His ankle injury comes at an awful time, but isn’t the only time he’s been ruled out this year having also been unavailable for eight games earlier this year.He joins Erik Lamela (hamstring), Serge Aurier (hamstring), Eric Dier (hip flexor), and Vincent Janssen (ankle) in the treatment room ahead of their match on Saturday against the Terriers.Pochettino is hopeful Dele Alli will return for Spurs’ Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester City if he can’t play against Huddersfield.5
Pochettino is hopeful Dele Alli will return for Spurs’ Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester City if he can’t play against Huddersfield.
Meanwhile, manager Mauricio Pochettino isn’t too optimistic about Dele Alli being fit either after he broke his hand in their European victory over Manchester City on Tuesday night. But, with all these injuries, how might Spurs look on Saturday afternoon? Find out below.

Son to shine?

Currently it’s likely Heung-Min Son will be the big ‘winner’ from Kane’s injury and he could well now be Spurs’ starting striker until the end of the season. This would see Lucas Moura as Kane’s replacement, but playing in an attacking midfield role as he looks to break the Huddersfield lines and link create chances. With Alli out we could also see Spurs opt for a back-three as they can call on talented Colombian centre-back Davinson Sanchez.Bringing in the ex-Ajax man will allow their wing-backs to play further forward, while Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld can distribute from a much higher defensive. How Spurs could look in a 3-4-2-15

Lucas up top?

He’s not had the greatest of seasons but the Brazilian could now come into his own.Lucas wasn’t the best when combining with Kane, especially in comparison to Son but is favoured by Pochettino in an advanced role.Spurs will have pace aplenty if the South Korea is partnered by Lucas, with a three-man midfield behind them as Christian Eriksen drops deeper to add numbers in midfield. This would see the back-three employed again, along with wing-backs for width. How Spurs could look in a 3-5-25

Fernando firing it in?

In the absence of Kane and Son earlier this season, Llorente saw plenty of game time. The strong centre-forward is a real departure from Kane but could be a useful fulcrum for an attacking trio of Son, Erikson and Lucas to play off.His goal-record hasn’t been bad recently either with him netting six goals and three assists in Kane’s last absence, including key contributions against Watford, Newcastle, and Borussia Dortmund.Should Huddersfield pose problems Eriksen can also drop deeper to make this a 4-3-3, if needed. How Spurs could look in a 4-2-3-15
